Chief Technology Officer, Walt Norblad is a former US Navy submarine sonar technician, who studied computers and mathematics at University of Oregon after a brief fling with the physics department. Walt also worked at the Microservices Technical Support Center on campus.
Walt joined the Lunar Logic team in 2004, working on Adaptive Testing Educational Systems for Cengage Learning. He was recognized by his colleagues for his quirkiness, curiosity, and his all-around knowledge of the nerd world. He was quickly promoted to Lead Developer and then to CTO in 2008.
Outside of work, Walt loves photography, video games, Star Trek, and generally all thing that are nerdy, but still awesome. Unsubstantiated sources also report that he invented the tilde, the letter "j" and the definition of the words "Unsubstantiated sources".
