Record Corporate Phone Calls?

As a corporate sales person, details come and go just as quickly as the wind. One moment you feel it and the next it's gone. Over the years, I have become an avid note taker on sales calls. I have legal pad after legal pad of notes from corporate phone calls. My hand writing is hurried and words are abbreviated. To most people it would look like a whole lot of words that would never be found in the dictionary thrown on a yellow piece of paper, the end result making little practical sense.

I assure you, I know what it all means. Right?

Unfortunately, that is not always the case. I find myself trying to decipher what it all means, especially later on. Obviously, it was something important since I wrote it down. Maybe a verbal contract? Maybe a concern from a client? Maybe even something as simple as contact information. Many times I look at the notes from sales calls and simply think how nice it would too be able to replay the call and slowly, correctly and efficiently gather the information that I need.

So now that's exactly what I do!

Since using the Call Recording Box™ for recording corporate phone calls, I have found that I am more committed and engaged in my sales calls. I don't have to worry about jotting down everything, fearing constantly that I may miss something.

Contrarily, I find that I am actually more focused and diligent in my words, tone and purpose. I have ability to sit back and carefully listen to what the client is saying. Once the call is over, I can then replay it at my leisure. Yet that "leisure" and "luxury" has done an interesting thing. I am more focused, I have become more efficient, my closing rate is higher and I have less stress. If I can accomplish all those things in one day then that is a great day at work.

By knowing that I can help myself become better at my career I strive for greater goals and accomplishments. Now I am achieving them.
